Ways to Find Your Purpose

Do you long to feel fulfilled in your career? Feel a little jealous at the people who already know what they want to do in life who make it seem so easy to figure out?

Are you wondering of a way to arrive at your purpose so you can develop your own sense of calling and individuality?

Below are ways to find your purpose even if you are one of those people who finds that nothing interests you (yet).

  1. Do some self-exploration. Sometimes when you’ve been going all of your life living on everyone else’s terms, there comes a time when you have to break away from all of the noise and stand in your own shadow. If you are serious about finding a way to your purpose and fulfillment, then be intentional about stepping away from distractions and doing some self-exploration. This can be in the form of traveling solo, taking up a new spiritual practice like meditating, taking up a new hobby like painting, or even taking a few moments every day to journal and write down whatever thoughts and feelings are coming up for you. The main question you’ll want to ponder is: What do I want? What do I like to do? Then be open to trying whatever comes up for you. The quickest way to find what you don’t like is to sift through all the things you know you don’t like.

  2.  Read a book. There’s a book for everything. And sometimes the answers to some of life’s biggest questions have already been answered and documented in book form. When was the last time you read a book in the self-help section? Did you find it helpful? Did you finish? Some spend a lifetime searching for meaning in life. Breadcrumbs To Purpose unleashes wisdom that will propel your journey towards meaningful expression. While honoring your distinct identity, you will gain techniques that will heighten your awareness of barriers and obstructions to your purpose – including those constructed by others and those we construct ourselves. You will be guided on a journey that assesses all areas of your life with one goal in mind: to bring you into alignment with your divinely assigned purpose.

3. Get a life coach or life strategist. Sometimes we could be our own worst critic. And if that is the case then it may be time to reach out for help. Sometimes when you have someone who is on the outside looking in that person can help you from a Birdseye view see how you may be self sabotaging yourself or where you might have some Blindspot’s that could use some tweaking. There are a number of different areas that a life coach can support you with along your path to purpose. This type of mentor can help you in regards to finding joy with your purpose or also finding fulfillment in your work or evening meaning in your relationships to name a few.

Hopefully these tips will give you some direction as far as different ways you can begin to arrive at your purpose. Give your self some leeway for trying new things and figuring out what you like and don’t like. And when all else fails, get a mentor who is trained and really good at being able to support you through this specific type of challenge that many people face and that many people overcome.

Now go in peace and walk in power.
